We've been coming to planet play for a few years now but since the new owner took over there has been definate improvements. The place is much cleaner, the toilets are much better, the food is better quality. The new owner is friendly and you can see is passionate about improving this business.

My grand kids are 6 and almost 3 and Planet Play World is perfect for both of them. The place is not so big so I don’t constantly need to keep an eye on the young one. Food was good and staff are very friendly and helpful! Will definitely be coming back!

Planet Play Solihull truly offers a unique sensory experience from the moment you walk in — mainly the overwhelming aroma of what can only be described as “stale gym bag meets swamp.” The play area itself is impressively small, dark and dingy, giving children the authentic feeling of serving time in a low-security prison exercise yard. Most of the kids appeared completely unsupervised while parents were either glued to their phones or deep in intense weekly gossip summits with their friends. The result was packs of children sprinting around like inmates making a coordinated escape attempt. Even my 3-year-old daughter walked into the bathroom, looked around and immediately commented on how dirty it was — which probably says more than any adult review could. If you enjoy questionable hygiene, chaos, and the faint feeling you may need a tetanus booster afterwards, this is definitely the place for you.

I held my son’s birthday party here and it was honestly the best experience we had. They did the cutest set up, and the staff were so amazing and helpful on the day. The food was fresh, hot and plenty to feed everyone on the day, and refills of drink. I would definitely recommend this place and will be using it again for future parties!

We celebrated our son’s 5th birthday at Planet PlayWorld in Solihull and honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcomed, supported, and completely at ease. They were kind, patient, and incredibly organised, which took so much pressure off us as parents and allowed us to truly enjoy the day with our child. The party ran smoothly from start to finish, with staff checking in regularly and making sure everything was on track. The play area was clean, safe, and perfect for children of this age — full of excitement, laughter, and happy memories. Seeing our son and his friends having so much fun was priceless. The food was excellent and far exceeded our expectations, both in quality and portion size. It was well prepared, served on time, and enjoyed by both the children and adults. Small touches like this really showed how much care and thought goes into their parties. Overall, Planet PlayWorld delivered a stress-free, joyful birthday celebration that we’ll remember for a long time. We’re truly grateful to the team for helping make our son’s special day so memorable. Highly recommend to any parent looking for a well-run, friendly, and fun venue for children’s parties.
