South London has one of the widest spreads of soft play venues in the capital, running from Croydon and Sutton in the south right up to Greenwich and Lewisham closer to the river. Whatever corner of South London you're in, and whatever age group you're catering for, there's usually a well-rated option within a short drive or a couple of bus stops.

Croydon in particular has become something of a hub, with Clip 'n Climb Croydon offering a climbing-focused alternative to traditional soft play for older kids, alongside more conventional venues nearby. Rendezvous softplay and SalaSpark Ltd are both among the highest-rated venues in the area for a standard soft play visit, and Another Planet and Bertie and Boo Adventure Island are worth checking too if you're weighing up a few options before committing to one for the afternoon.

For younger children specifically, Little Seedlings Soft Play has built a strong reputation locally, and Globetrotters Soft Play Centre and Fratello Café & Play both come up regularly in parent reviews for a relaxed visit with a decent café attached, useful if a rainy-day trip is likely to turn into lunch as well as play.

As with anywhere, opening hours and any party or session bookings are worth checking directly with the venue before you set off, particularly at weekends and during school holidays when the more popular spots fill up fast. Our full South London listings let you filter further by area, age range, and features if none of the above quite fit what you're after.
