A great new cafe in an area that really needed it. Everything is new and clean and I hope it is maintained well. They have changing room for babies and small and adults toilets. There are dressing up sections, hairdressers, groceries, kitchen, cleaning, garage/construction, soft play with slide, climbing wall and monkey bars and colouring and play dough sections. There was a small outdoor section that we didn't use, but would be great when it gets warmer. My daughter loved every moment of it. It was really quiet when we went, I really hope this place does well because this needs to stick around. They have a small menu and coffees which are well priced and if you do a membership which is extremely worth it, you get discounted on the food too. Amazing place!

I would like to express my deepest gratitude to the entire team for making my son’s birthday so incredibly special. From the moment we arrived, everything was organised with such care, attention and warmth. The atmosphere you created, the way you interacted with the children, and the genuine kindness you showed made the whole day feel truly magical. My son had the most amazing time, and seeing his smile and excitement meant the world to me. Moments like these stay in a mother’s heart forever, and I’m sincerely thankful to each one of you for helping create such beautiful memories for him and for our family. Thank you for your professionalism, your patience, your positive energy and the love you clearly put into your work. We appreciate every small detail — it all made a difference. You turned his birthday into a day we will always remember with joy. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. ❤️

Yesterday we had our children’s Eid party at Kidz Nest Play Cafe and had a wonderful experience. A huge thank you to all the staff for being there for us on the day and making everything so enjoyable for the kids. The team were kind, lovely, attentive, and always available throughout the party to make sure everything ran smoothly. They even helped me put up the party decorations, which I really appreciated. A special thank you as well for lending us your professional camera on the day — such a thoughtful touch that helped us capture beautiful memories. Thank you Beverley! :) The staff went above and beyond, and we’re so grateful for all your help and support. Highly recommend!

I am writing this to highlight a deeply upsetting experience I had at Kidz Nest Play. As this facility has cameras, I encourage ownership to review the footage of this interaction. This was my second visit. On my first, the manager told me I could arrive 5 minutes early to collapse my double buggy and get my twins settled. Today, I booked a 2:30 PM session. I arrived on time, dealing with a toddler meltdown and a stressful encounter with a stranger outside, only to be met with complete hostility from the manager. The Incident: System Error: After knocking for 5 minutes while managing my screaming child, the manager opened the door and abruptly asked, "What do you want?" When I mentioned my 2:30 booking, she told me that was "impossible" because she had blocked that time out. Hostility: Rather than being helpful, she rudely demanded I "show her" the proof. Even after I showed her the confirmation, there was no apology—only further defensiveness. Lack of Awareness: Exhausted and overwhelmed, I asked to just cancel the session. Instead of letting me leave, the manager went on a tirade, following me to my buggy and calling me "rude" while I was physically struggling to strap in my crying children. The Issue: I understand that booking systems can glitch. What I cannot accept is a manager in a childcare-focused business who lacks the basic human decency to recognize a parent in a stressful situation. Instead of de-escalating or offering a moment of grace, she chose to argue and insult a customer who was clearly at a breaking point. If your business caters to parents, your staff—especially management—needs to be trained in basic empathy and conflict resolution. I have shared this experience with the local community group and, unfortunately, it seems I am not the only one who has experienced this level of unprofessionalism. I will not be returning.

Avoid! Chaotic, poorly run, disorganised and unsafe. Staff were unhelpful and uninformed. Toilets were dirty with no bins to dispose nappies of provided. Loose screws left lying around in children’s reach. Plenty of choking hazards everywhere and no designated area for pre walking children. I came with my two children on the opening day and frankly, I would have left after 5 minutes but I didn’t want to disappoint my toddler who was very much looking forward to playing. It was very busy and hectic but partially due to way too many friends and family of the owner who came with no children. I ordered a coffee for which I had to wait well over half an hour only to be told to leave as the session was over when the drink finally arrived! To top it all off, as I was leaving I was asked by the owner why was I ‚just sitting there and didn’t get anything’ (I was sat in the corner next to a pram with my newborn while my toddler was playing). I will not be going back which is unfortunate as a play cafe in this area is very much needed.
