Hornsey Road Children's Centre

I went to an 11:15am soft play session with my 2 babies for 0-3yr olds on a Friday as part of the Bright Start 24/25 timetable. I arrived 10 mins early and was turned away as they were already at capacity and decided to start the session 15mins early. Naturally I was not impressed because this is the 5th time I’ve been turned away from one of their sessions across the Borough, I spoke with the manager that day who kept repeating their rules on being over subscribed but if they just notified people in their schedules of the max capacity and forewarned parents/ carers if a session is full up I.e text alerts, then they would have my respect. More people were turned away in the time I spent talking to them than were in the session which was 8 families maximum.

Usually is amazing. Unfortunately I misunderstood the lady at Archway before the holiday that said you'll be back the 3rd, so I went to Hornsey for the stay and play, I understand I was in the wrong, but you didn't have to eye roll me. For some of us these days were really tough I just got excited to give my son a bit of play time, I just didn't think through, don't need to do that.

My child attended this Nursery when we lived in north London and I was so sad when we moved as she settled so well! The staff are lovely and make you feel so comfortable. My child was very happy and enjoyed her time at the Nursery. Thank you Yasmin, Pearlene, Brittany and everyone else who took care of my little one!

The worst…. I was told to come at 13:30 for children play activity when enquired but after reaching there the receptionist told oh sorry its not today and was like I’m not the receptionist.. and seems like she was just trying to escape … bla bla bla….. such unreliable people still exist can’t believe.

Went there with my daughter to the stay and play which was good however someone had stolen my daughters buggy. Yep buggy thieves make sure you take a lock for your buggy.
