Old House At Home Wacky Warehouse

It was absolutely lovely! We went with a 4 year old and 1 year old and they had a blast at Wacky Warehouse. The staff were lovely and caring. The food was reasonable and reasonably priced. I especially liked the ice-cream and Mac and cheese! I was positively surprised to find an outdoor playground as well! And how cheap kids afters were! Would absolutely go again!

Been in tonight brought five passes. Ordered for two Adults and five children. My three years old meal did not come. The only worker was chatting to her friend for 20 minutes. We asked where the little ones meal please ? Told I don’t work in the kitchen ! Her and her friend laughing. Then a meal came after we asked the manager the wrong meal. So my son had nothing but the worker‘s friend had two meals for her child. Told the manager, no words blank. The Young lad was more interested in his mobile. Then the woman’s husband started on my sister. Cheap as chips but not a Safe place for children. No refund for my son’s meal. Need closing down. Rather pay more. My daughter had to go over the side by Till to get forks, salt and butter as she was chatting and we were waiting with our food. I came here looking for a hit of nostalgia, but all I got was a health hazard. I grew up at Wacky Warehouse 30 years ago. I have so many incredible memories of this place as a kid that I couldn't wait to introduce my own children to it. Walking in felt like a total time warp—not because of the "vibe," but because it looks like they haven’t replaced a single piece of equipment or picked up a cleaning cloth since 1994. The equipment isn't just "well-loved"; it’s disgusting. It feels like thirty years of grime, sweat, and mystery stickiness have just been left to marinate. It’s genuinely a shame; I wanted my kids to run around the same way I did, but I couldn't bring myself to let them touch anything. It’s heartbreaking to see a staple of my childhood fall into such a state of neglect and filth. We won’t be back. If I wanted my kids to play with 30-year-old germs, I’d dig out my old primary school PE kit. Summary: Unless you're looking to catch a vintage 90s flu strain, stay away. This review focuses on the play area. The pub also offers good food and has excellent staff.

We visited today with our granddaughter and had a wonderful experience. A special shoutout to Nikki, who was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our visit. She did a fantastic job keeping the play area clean and tidy, which made everything even more enjoyable. We’ll definitely be returning—thank you!

Had my Sons 2nd Birthday Party today 19/04/2026. Exclusive Hire. Katie was absoutely exceptional despite being on her own due to sickness she went above and beyond and made the party perfect for my little boy and was very accommodating to family and friends. She is an asset to the Greene King company. ❤️
