I visited with my 6 month old twins and found accessibility to be a real challenge. As a twin mum I’m used to places being difficult but even the singleton parents I was with struggled to get pushchairs through the door and had to be helped by staff. A double pushchair, or a wheelchair, would not fit. We were told it wasn’t intended to bring pushchairs in, but I’m sure many parents with older kids and babies would want to do this. Having had to park far away due to limited parking, pushchairs were a necessity for some in our group. Parking is very limited and quite tight in some spots, making it difficult to get babies out of car seats. I didn’t get chance to use the play facilities unfortunately, but the variety looked good and so did the refreshments. It’s a shame as I feel this place has huge potential but is really let down by accessibility which can be off putting to some parents; getting out with babies can be daunting enough. With older toddlers that can walk in it might not be a problem. Pictured is the access door, which is round the side of the building and through the car parking spaces. You have to ring a bell and wait to be let in by staff. Personally we are unlikely to visit again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our play session at the Play Cafe. My 4 year old son loved exploring the variety of toys and activities - especially the fancy dress area. My 8 week old slept through the entire session, however I still loved the beautiful set up in the baby area. There’s been so much thought put into the whole venue and it has a real home from home feel about it. My cake and coffee also went down a treat! Delicious! X

I attended a birthday party with my daughter. I was amazed at how spacious the venue was. Lots of activities for the kids to keep them entertained. The staff were really friendly, warm and welcoming. Definitely would recommend for a safe place for your child to play and a great venue for a party

Lovely place and we enjoy visiting frequently. Coffee machine isn't great as coffee always lukewarm. There could be more healthy snacks/lunch options like a sandwich etc but the staff always go out of their way to make it a lovely visit! We will continue to enjoy our visits! Its very good value.
