The soft play area is average at best, and the food is about the same — nothing special. There’s very little for kids to do: the play equipment is limited, with just a small supermarket and kitchen setup that doesn’t hold their attention for long. The staff are genuinely friendly and always smiling, which is a nice touch. However, they don’t seem to do much beyond that — I’d say they operate at less than the bare minimum in terms of keeping things running smoothly or engaging with families. The biggest issue is cleanliness. The toilets and floors were quite dirty and messy, which is unacceptable for a soft play area, especially one used by small children who are constantly picking things up off the floor. For a family venue, this really needs to be addressed. Overall, it’s an okay spot for a quick visit if you’re in the area, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to return.

I cannot recommend Funky Monkeys enough, and it is largely thanks to the incredible manager, Megan. From the moment we walked in, Megan went above and beyond to ensure we had a fantastic experience. It’s rare to find someone who genuinely cares as much as she does; she wasn't just "doing her job," she was actively making sure every child felt special and every parent felt at ease. Why We’ll Be Back: • Megan’s Leadership: She is a total superstar. Whether she was managing a busy floor or taking the time to interact individually with the kids, her energy was infectious. She has a natural gift for working with children—they absolutely adore her! • The Dream Team: The entire staff was lovely. You can tell Megan runs a tight ship because the team was helpful, smiling, and incredibly attentive. It’s clear they enjoy working there, which creates such a positive atmosphere for the families. • Going the Extra Mile: Megan personally checked in on us several times to make sure everything was perfect. That level of personal touch is so hard to find these days. If you’re looking for a place where your kids can blow off some steam while being looked after by a professional, warm, and dedicated team, this is it. Huge thanks to Megan and the crew—you guys are doing an amazing job!

Had my daughter’s Princess Party there. There was a bit of confusion on how many booked in after making alterations. They only had my first booking number and not the final number that was changed 24 hours before party Had a party leader called Ava who was very welcoming and friendly. She was very warming to the kids attending and explained everything that was happening. Also added extra chairs for siblings to sit in the party room which was brilliant for the parents to keep them close. The party was very well organised and there was plenty of food for the children to enjoy. The disco was very enjoyable listening to their favourite songs. My only complaint is that there should be some way of buying extra ice creams so that sibling don’t miss out.

Took my little one here today and she absolutely loved it. The soft play was great and kept her happy the whole time. It was nice and clean, and looked modern and up to date! While we were there, there was a bit of an incident with another customer who was quite rude to the staff, but the lady working (I think her name was Isabelle) handled it really well and stayed polite and calm throughout. When it was my turn to be served, she was still lovely and friendly. She even chatted to my daughter about her teddy and gave them both scented stickers, which totally made her day. My little girl hasn't stopped talking about it and is already excited to go back. Big thank you to Isabelle for being so kind and professional it really made our visit. Little one can’t wait to visit again!

We hold memberships for both our children and visit at least once a week. No matter which day we go the staff are always lovely and the soft play the cleanest by far. There is a separate baby and toddler area perfect for babies. The pretend play area is updated with new additions regularly and items actually washed. Lots of sensory items on the walls to engage children. The toilet facilities very clean and monitored throughout the day. Tables are cleaned regularly and even the highchairs are spotless. Food is a bit pricey but other than that can't complain. Our boys always have a fantastic time and find something to entertain themselves.
