Waltham Forest Feel Good Centre

Easy to find, plenty of parking, staff are friendly and it was very clean. The center has a buggy park, baby changing facilities and locker room where you put in a £1 coin and get it back. Upon entering the play room you can purchase sock with the grippy bottoms. In the room there are plenty of benches with table for the parents/guardians to sit and keep watch. The play room was a little chilly with a small certain blocked where the competitive climbing and games would be. There was a blue square foam section, trampolining section and a climbing soft play section for the younger children. First, the blue foam squares are squishy and can hold an adults weight, it will save you when you fall so you know the children are safe when the walk across the beam, use the monkey bar, across the net etc. The trampoline section is open and you can run across it. The children have enough space to run up and down without bumping into each other the trampolines are also in the sides so there is less chance to for accidents, I was jumping and making full use of the space. Spray bottles and clothes are out for you to use if you want to clean up or sanitize before you start. The climbing frame was a few slides and is at the end of the room. There are some slides which may be too fast for the smaller children but with an adult should be fine, the socks will help you. Overall it’s not bad, it costed £11 (for 1 adult and 1 child) and then extra £11 for an extra adult. I think it was around £3 something for a par of socks. If you within the area it’s a fun, safe stop for the kids that will make them tired.

Softplay, ninja area and trampolines good for under 10s. Ninja area the highlight for my kids. However, softplay was very very dusty, looked like it had not been cleaned for years. Also, very strict on timed entry in, not letting you go in even a couple minutes early.

Im pulling my children out of lessons here, they don't progress, whislt there are a handful of staff that care the majority of boys saunter round the pool like they are on holiday and today it took until 10 mins into the lesson for the pool to be set up. I have fed back to the team when specific incident occured but now th weather is nice they seem to prioritise the public swimming and so the children barely have space meaning lessons are over crowded.

Overall a nice place. Parking easy outside, pay on app. Tried to sort swimming last minute but needed the app, person in foyer didnt know the website... then a lady at the desk appeared and sorted it. Pool pretty full, but sectioned off in such a way that made it worse. Also a lot of loud young guys being unruly and bashing into those trying to swim, lifeguards useless. Doubt ill be back.

His effort means members can just walk in and get straight to their workout without wasting time hunting for equipment. 🙌 That level of consistency makes such a difference.
