Playtopia Play Centre

It is a good place when it isn't too busy. When we were there last thursday, a group of school children arrived and it quickly become unenjoyable. Way too many children running around, not enough teachers watching them (alot of the teachers were just sat down chatting and enjoying a break) children running about in the under 2 area without being monitored by the teachers, which made it pretty annoying whilst I was in there with my baby. Some children were pulling all the bikes out of the bike track area repeatedly with both teachers and staff doing very little about it. It just became pretty feral and stressful, so we left. It would be nice to have a way of letting people know when there is a school booked in, when booking online, so that people are aware and can avoid coming during that time. It has put me off going back to be honest.

While up in West Yorkshire visiting family, we bought the little chap here to burn off some energy. The place was very clean, staff very friendly. The coffee was excellent and the food, both were not expensive. I managed to plug the car in for a charge while here and was pleasantly surprised to find it was free. We would highly recommend a visit.

Attended a kids party with my 5 year old. He loved it. Plenty of areas to play and different activities. Friendly staff, decent food reasonably priced. There was a good amount of parking space, lots of seating for adults and it was clean.

Im a registered childminder, and I have been a few times to Playtopia,,absolutely fantastic place, perfect for children. I also hosted our Eid party in the party room, the staff were so supportive, exceptionally brilliant at making sure our Eid party went well. I took 15 children and 10 adults with us, everyone had a brilliant time. I have booked another session for the Summer term, definitely highly recommend this place to everyone.

After looking online and seeing it was open all day we travelled from brighouse to be there for 1pm to be told they are closing in an hour because there was no online booking, there was a lot of people there too. I asked if it will be a reduced rate for an hour play instead of 2 nope still charged full price , at 2pm there was quite a few of us there they kicked out. Absolutely disgusting will not be coming here again shame as my daughter likes this play gym. To add to this after putting this review online they then tried to call me, no idea how they got my number then I was emailed with a lie about the bookings being blocked for the afternoon due to air conditioning service that was booked in, when I replied it explaining they wasn't blocked at 12 pm when I looked online they changed it to the engine only confirmed they would be there in the afternoon, after an email back saying that there is inconsistencies with the emails. I got shut down with sorry for the confusion. So it's clearly a lie and just wanted to close half day. I would have been happier with the truth but I guess some people just can't tell the truth.
